Lorsque j’ai feuilleté Les Petits Trésors de Belle Ile en Mer, de Florent Gury, je me suis instantanément senti transporté en Bretagne, avec les effluves des bords de mer me remontant dans les narines. Je me suis remémoré le bruit des vagues sur les rochers, l’ambiance autour du port, les plages de galets.

Cet ouvrage nous dresse un portrait de l’île bretonne en alternant les vue graphiques en noir et blanc et les vue panoramiques prises le soir ou au lever du soleil, ce qui contribue à une restitution intemporelle de l’atmosphère tout en soulignant la beauté de moments phares tels que le lever ou le coucher du soleil. Ces moments, trop souvent traités de manière kitsch par les photographes en herbe, déclinent ici parfaitement l’âme d’un pays.
